Micron Serpent exhaust equipped GSXR-1000 of Velocity Racing wins Prostar 1000 SS at Atlanta
"Richard has been working really, really hard and we have not been able to do any testing," said Henson. "But what Richard has going for him is that he can cut a light on anybody. We believe we have a really special rider in Richard, and we really haven't had a chance to do a lot of tuning on his bike. We know we can improve a lot on his program as soon as we can do some testing."
"We accomplished a great thing this weekend, winning three Pro or Semipro classes with those brand new bikes," continued Barry, who praised Pro Street/Super Street mechanics Frankie Henson and Ken Niebling and Supersport mechanic Julian Lawson. "These guys were working late and didn't have a lot of sleep, so I really didn't have enough personnel to do the job. It will definitely be a challenge trying to win championships with three bikes, and we take each and every one seriously to win championships for Suzuki."
Henson and his riders thanked American Suzuki, Velocity Racing, Micron Exhaust, Ward Performance, Falicon, Vanson Leathers, APE, J.E. Pistons, Marvic, Catalyst Racing Composites, Motul, Hyperpro Suspension, Millennium Technologies, KWS Motorsports and World Wide Bearings.
